NEW BUILDING PROJECT
| With the increasing number of congregants and expanding needs of our community, we have reached a point where our current facilities no longer adequately serve everyone. The new masjid building project aims to address these needs by providing a larger prayer area, classrooms for religious education, community hall for events, and facilities for sisters, youth and social services. |
vision
“In Houses that Allah has allowed to be exalted and that His name will be remembered therein. Therein, do offer praise to Him, at morning and evening, men whom neither merchandise nor sale beguiles them from the remembrance of Allah and constancy in prayer and paying to the poor their due, men who fear the day on which hearts and eyeballs will be overturned.” (An-Nur 24:36-37).
The mosque is the most important institution in Islam. After home and the workplace, it is the most frequented place. Muslims visit it at least twice, if not three or five times, a day. There, they rekindle their spirituality, strengthen their relationship with their Creator, meet their Muslim brethren, and renew their sense of belonging.
Mission
Da’awatul Islamia’s Vision is to convey a clear perception and understanding of the Islamic teachings to Muslims and Non-Muslims. We aspire to inspire an appreciation of Islamic values by educating the community about Islam and its principles, and by relating its effectiveness in today’s world.
Our spiritual vision is to pursue faith, knowledge, justice, freedom, purpose, and righteousness in a peaceful and caring environment.
The Mission of Da’awatul Islamia is to provide a secure and comfortable facility where believers can gather for the worship of Allah (SWT) regardless of race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, or age. We also work to serve and to interact with the Muslim and Non-Muslim communities-at-large in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Quran and with the Sunna (way of life) of the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
