The new building will be a 2-storey one with 1,300 sq. ft. of prayer hall and 1,370 sq. ft. of multi-purpose rooms.

In Shah Allah, the prayer hall will accommodate 150 musallis with parking space for over 50 cars.

Other amenities include:

  • Separate entrance for brothers and sisters
  • Separate restrooms for brothers and sisters
  • Library and study rooms
  • Multi-purpose rooms for youth and other Islamic function.

Alhamdulillah, we have obtained both site permit and construction permit. We are waiting for the clearance from Franklin Township Sewerage Authority to start the demolition of the existing premises before starting the construction.

We had a formal ground-breaking function on September 22, 2024, which was graced by Imam Hamad Ahmad Chebli of Islamic Society of Central Jersey (ISCJ) Masjid, Imam Mubin Kathrada of Masjid As-Saffat, Trenton and Imam Jawad Ahmad of Masjid Al-Wali, Edison along with The Hon. Mayor Phil Kramer of Franklin Township and other dignitaries.

In Shah Allah, we are hopeful that we shall be able to get the clearance by end of January 2025.
